This mug was born from a quiet reflection on simplicity and imperfection. Inspired by wabi-sabi, the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in the imperfect, its form is intentionally irregular, grounding, and honest.

The sculptural looped base represents continuity, a circle without beginning or end. It anchors the mug visually and symbolically, reminding us to stay rooted in the present.

Developed in collaboration with skilled ceramic makers in China, each piece is carefully crafted and hand-glazed using time-honoured techniques, ensuring no two are ever the same.
